These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Duvvo mobile application ("Platform" or "Duvvo") made available by Megayo Technologies Private Limited ("Megayo", "Company", "we", "us", "our"), a private company incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered office at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The terms "you" and "your" refer to the user of the Platform.

By downloading, installing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines (collectively, "Platform Policies"), govern your use of Duvvo. Please read all three documents carefully.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. WHAT IS Duvvo

Duvvo is an anonymous voice-based social connection platform. It enables users to connect with other users through real-time voice calls in a safe, moderated, and identity-protected environment.

Duvvo supports the following features only:

Real-time voice calls between users
Anonymous user profiles with chosen usernames
Coin wallet for initiating voice calls
Reporting and blocking tools

2. WHO MAY USE Duvvo

You must meet all of the following criteria to use Duvvo:

You must be 18 years of age or older. Duvvo is strictly an 18+ platform.
You must register using a valid Indian mobile phone number and verify it via OTP.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
You must not have been previously banned or suspended from Duvvo for violations of these Terms.

BY REGISTERING ON Duvvo, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. IF WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THAT A USER IS BELOW 18 YEARS OF AGE, WE WILL IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE THAT ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE.

You are required to provide your correct phone number, gender, and age at the time of registration. You may use a chosen username on the Platform and are not required to disclose your real name.

3. PURCHASE AND USAGE OF COINS

What are Coins

Coins are the in-app currency of Duvvo. They represent a limited licence to access certain features on the Platform. Coins are not legal tender, not a financial instrument, not a deposit, and not redeemable for cash or any monetary equivalent under any circumstances.

Purchasing Coins

You may purchase Coins using payment methods made available on the Platform. The price of each Coin pack will be displayed at the point of sale and will be inclusive of all applicable taxes.

ALL COIN PURCHASES ARE FINAL. NO REFUND WILL BE PROVIDED ONCE A PAYMENT IS SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED, REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCE.

Payments are processed by third-party payment gateway partners. Megayo technologies does not store your card, UPI, or bank account details. We only receive confirmation that a transaction was successful and the amount paid.

Using Coins

Coins can only be used to initiate voice calls on the Duvvo Platform.
Coins cannot be used for any other purpose.
Coins cannot be transferred to another user or third party.
Coins cannot be combined with any discount, coupon, or promotional offer unless explicitly designated by us.
The sale, barter, or exchange of Coins between users is strictly prohibited.
Coins do not constitute property and are not transferable upon death or by operation of law.
Coins associated with your account will be permanently extinguished when you delete your account.

COINS WILL AUTOMATICALLY EXPIRE AND BE FORFEITED IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS INACTIVE FOR SIX (6) CONSECUTIVE MONTHS (180 DAYS). NO REFUND OR COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED FOR EXPIRED OR FORFEITED COINS.

Any fraudulent activity related to Coin purchases, including chargebacks, disputed transactions, or use of stolen payment methods, will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all Coins. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for fraudulent activity.

4. YOUR COMMITMENTS

a. Accurate Information

You must provide your correct phone number, gender, and age at registration. While you may use a chosen username, you may not impersonate another person, falsely represent your age, or provide any information intended to deceive Duvvo or other users.

b. Respectful Conduct

You agree to treat all users of Duvvo with respect. You will not use the Platform to harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any other user. You will not engage in hate speech, discrimination, or incitement of violence based on gender, religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, or any other characteristic.

c. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You will not use Duvvo to:

Share, solicit, or engage in any sexual content or adult services
Solicit personal contact details from other users for commercial purposes
Attempt to identify, reveal, or share another user's real identity
Impersonate any other user or public figure
Promote gambling, unlawful financial schemes, or money laundering
Spread misinformation, false information, or content designed to deceive
Share content that threatens national security, public order, or sovereignty of India
Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Platform
Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools to access the Platform without authorisation
Create multiple accounts after being suspended or banned
Engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian law

d. Identity Protection

Duvvo is built on anonymity. Attempting to discover, reveal, or share another user's real identity - including their real name, phone number, location, social media accounts, or any other personally identifying information - is a serious violation of these Terms and will result in permanent account termination.

e. Intellectual Property

Megayo owns all rights to the Duvvo Platform including its name, branding, interface, features, and technology. You will not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform or its content. You will not use Duvvo's name or branding without our express written permission.

f. Content Rights

Duvvo is a voice-only platform. You do not upload or share content files on Duvvo. Your voice during calls is not recorded or stored by Duvvo. You remain solely responsible for what you say during calls.

You grant Megayo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use any username, profile description, or topic tags you create on the Platform for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

5. MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT

Our Approach

Duvvo has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, harassment, sexual content, and exploitation. We use a combination of user reporting and human moderation to enforce our Community Guidelines.

Enforcement Ladder

For most violations, we follow this escalation process:

First violation: Warning notification
Second violation: Account suspended for 24 hours
Third violation: Account suspended for 48 hours
Persistent or severe violation: Permanent account ban

Certain violations result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning, including:

Any sexual content or solicitation
Any content involving minors
Attempts to dox or identify another user
Fraud, including payment fraud
Re-registration after a permanent ban

Appeals

If your account is restricted or terminated, you will receive a notification with the reason. You may appeal by writing to grievance.officer@duvvo.app within 14 days of the action. We will review your appeal and respond within 7 working days.

6. PROHIBITION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION (CSAE)

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Duvvo has an absolute zero-tolerance policy for any content, activity, or behaviour involving the sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children. This includes but is not limited to:

Any content that sexually depicts, exploits, or endangers a minor
Any conduct that violates the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian laws
Any attempt to contact or groom a minor through the Platform

Reporting and Cooperation

Any user who encounters content or behaviour that may involve the exploitation of a child must report it immediately using the in-app reporting tool or by emailing safety@duvvo.app.

Duvvo actively cooperates with Indian law enforcement agencies including the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and Interpol for all investigations related to child safety. We will take down any reported content within 24 hours and preserve all necessary records for legal authorities in compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Any user found to have violated this policy will face immediate permanent account termination, and we will report the matter to relevant authorities including the Cyber Crime Portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in) and law enforcement agencies.

7. INTERMEDIARY STATUS AND LIABILITY

Megayo Technologies Private Limited is an intermediary as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. These Terms are published in accordance with Rule 3(1)(a) of the IT Rules, 2021.

Duvvo provides a platform for users to connect via voice calls. We do not participate in, monitor, or record any voice calls between users. Each user is solely responsible for their conduct during calls.

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm arising from:

The conduct of any user during a voice call
Any offline consequences of interactions initiated on Duvvo
Any third-party services accessed through the Platform
Any disruption or unavailability of the Platform

In the event any exclusion of liability is held invalid, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid to us for Coins in the month preceding your claim.

8. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION

You may delete your account at any time through the Platform settings. Deletion is permanent and will result in forfeiture of all unused Coins.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
You violate any applicable Indian law
We are required to do so by a court order or government authority
Your account is inactive for an extended period

Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution will survive termination of your account.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Megayo Technologies Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Platform
Any breach of these Terms by you
Your violation of any third party's rights
Your violation of any applicable law
Your negligence or wilful misconduct

10. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

If you have any concern, complaint, or grievance related to your use of Duvvo, you may contact us through the following channels:

Note: This email is exclusively for police and investigating agencies. Users must write to grievance.officer@duvvo.app for all user-related concerns.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 working days, in accordance with the IT Rules, 2021.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Duvvo will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

12. CHANGES TO THE PLATFORM

Duvvo is an evolving product. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may temporarily or permanently discontinue the Platform or any feature without prior notice, except where we are required by law to provide notice.

We are not liable for any loss resulting from changes to or discontinuation of the Platform or any feature.

13. GENERAL

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Megayo Technologies Private Limited with respect to your use of Duvvo.
